The Marsbucker 17 pickup is a high-output pickup designed to have a tight low end, YHL's unique rich, multiple harmony, and avoids the usual monotonous and rigid tonal characteristics of typical high-output metal pickups. It also takes special consideration of metal's aggressive harmonic overtones to produce a pronounced but elegant overtone. Even in single-coil mode, the M17 performs exceptionally well, resembling the tone of a vintage Telecaster bridge pickup.
